World Invitational Hula Festival

The 2007 World Invitational Hula Festival (WIHF)is celebrating its 17th anniversary in Honolulu, Hawaii, Oahu, at the beautiful Waikiki Shell.

Thousands of participants from 15 countries hone their hula skills throughout the year and participate in hundreds of events to secure the means to travel to Hawaii every November. Their goal is to participate in an international festival displaying their rendition of the art form called hula. As a festival, there is no competition, only a celebration to share and perpetuate the art.

WIHF is a nonprofit organization existing exslusively for the artistic benefits of hula and funded by lovers of the art through kind and generous donations, membership enrollment and sponsor packages.
